Unusually for a Santa this train was headed by just one loco - 80002. It's seen near Oakworth on the 9th December 1995. 48431 had failed earlier in the day and was removed from the consist to sit out the day in Oakworth yard.

Nowadays I tend to take shots of KWVR Santas from three-quarter rear to a) catch the glint and b) avoid sights such as this! Having said that, the locos don't usually wear silly faces, so this was a particularly bad example!
