13809 visited the railway from Butterley a couple of times in the mid-eighties. It's seen here leaving Keighley on the 8th April 1984. On neither occasion it visited was the weather particularly sunny, but as it's most-recent overhaul is now completed, it might visit the KWVR again and perhaps the weather will co-operate! The loco certainly looked at home on the KWVR.

The KWVR's own 4F, 43924 stands at Oxenhope on the 18th September 1983. This loco has been out of use for many years, but is currently under overhaul.

5305 was based at the KWVR for a couple of years in the early 1990s. Here it's leaving Oakworth on the 9th May 1993. This shot is no longer available due encroaching to tree growth.

49395 tackles Keighley Bank with the 17.10 goods to Oxenhope on the 14th October 2005. Evident is the steam leak from the cylinders, which didn't make the loco easy to photograph throughout the Autumn 2005 Gala. Didn't seem to bother the footplate crews though!

4422 nears the top of Keighley Bank on the 10th September 1995. It visited the KWVR from the Churnet Valley Railway for a reasonable length of time and it was good to see a 4F in action on the Worth Valley again. The railway's own 4F, 43924 has been under overhaul for some years.

41241 heads for Oxenhope through a nice bit of snow on the 23rd February 1986. We don't get enough snow, in my opinion. I haven't got too many pictures taken in these conditions, more's the pity.
