34092 "City of Wells" is perhaps the "flagship" loco on the KWVR, but has been under overhaul for some fifteen years. At the time it was running my photography skills left a lot to be desired and if I was taking this now, I wouldn't have cut the back of the train off! 34092 "City of Wells" runs round at Keighley on the 10th September 1989. Since this shot was taken a lot has changed, including the disappearance of the signalbox and the addition of "knitting" for the Aire Valley electrification.

34092 "City of Wells" passes Oakworth Mound on the 7th June 1986. By this time it had been fitted with a Geisl exhaust which made it clag even more spectacularly!

34027 "Taw Valley" leaves Keighley on the 19th April 1992. I think the loco was based at the East Lancs Railway at the time.

Ex-USA dock tank, 30072 crosses Mytholmes Viaduct on the 16th August 1987. The loco had been recently restored to traffic and converted back to coal burning after running as an oil burner in it's previous incarnation. It seems to be burning a lot of coal here!

The crew of "Sir Lamiel" make final preparations before the departure of the special train to Blea Moor in connection with the Worth Valley Railway's 40th Anniversary celebrations. Unfortunately it only got as far as Skipton due to the failure of the loco. 28/6/08.
